How we made it through Thursday:

And a dreary one, at that:
It is raining, again.

Laura came home this afternoon,
dropped her bag,
and took a shot of our classy-Swedish vodka.

But nothing beats a Thursday like Saturday morning breakfast, twice.

Chocolate-chip pancakes for breakfast, with fresh strawberries (whip cream and chocolate syrup too!)

Then for dinner, omelets with Swiss cheese and spinach....

of course, all with good music, played VERY LOUDLY,

dancing and each other.

Oh yeah, and we are finishing the best way:

Did I mention all the dancing?

"i've wanted a llama since high school. i would name her elizabeth."

xine: i really want a llama.
me: WHY!? they bite and they spit!
xine: they are beautiful and elegant and they know what they like and they are completely comfortable with expressing themselves.

These are the conversations we have while listening to arabic music and discussing the (im)practicality of less popular pet preferences.
We were originally discussing skunks.
I would totally have a pet skunk.
Totes.
So would tabs.

See?! LOOK AT THIS ADORABLENESS!

[Skunk, not boy. Well, at least for two of the
three roommates. ;) ]

Alas, we will not get one.
But the only thing stopping us is that our landlady included in the lease that we couldn't bring in any more pets.

Apparently, two dogs, two cats, and a pet mouse is more than enough for most, sane, people.

Jake and Tilly.

Left: Note the symmetrical position of their tails. Not an accident.

Below: The position of Jake's paws. Dreaming of Tilly?
